Christina Whisenhunt, Au.D.- Doctor of Audiology
Originally from northern California, Christina moved to Arizona over 15 years ago. She loves the versatility Arizona provides; from high desert with snow, to low desert with breathtaking sunsets. She has met so many great people and cultivated some amazing friendships here in the Grand Canyon State. Christina and her husband Jason have called Gilbert home for the last couple years. They look forward to growing their family and friendships through fellowship and continued exploration of the many facets of Arizona.
Christina’s path to Audiology began in childhood from her hearing impaired grandmother. Her grandmother had a cochlear implant that helped her hear after decades of profound hearing loss. Witnessing the joy that device brought her grandmother’s life was all she needed to be inspired to help others improve their quality of life through better hearing. Christina attended the University of Arizona for her Bachelor Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a Minor in Deaf Studies. After a couple years as a Speech Pathologist at a local school for special needs children, she decided to return to education for her doctorate in Audiology at A.T. Still University.
